We believe that in a rapidly changing industry, farmers deserve vets who are 100% committed to farm animal work. That’s why our dedicated farm vets are here to provide support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
As well as dealing with traditional emergency and surgical work, our team offers a wide range of planning and preventative services.  As the old adage says: ‘Prevention is better than cure’

On farm services include;

• Herd health planning; everything from an annual visit report to DEFRA FFIS health plans and dairy herd benchmarking

• Scanning with one of our back pack scanners; including regular routine fertility visits

• Ram and bull fertility testing

• Mastitis and milk monitoring services

• LVI services including export

• Housing evaluation and improvement

• Nutritional advice including metabolic profiling

From the office we offer;

•Farm animal consulting facilities; you can bring small livestock to us at the practice for anything from injections to caesarians

• Vaccination supplies and advice

• A full range of laboratory testing from blood samples to post-mortem

• Medicine and equipment supplies at competitive rates

• Advice over the phone or at our office

Our doors are open to anyone with livestock, from commercial farms to smallholdings. We deal with farm animals, large and small. From cows to camelids to chickens, come to Myerscough Farm Vets for dedicated, personal service.
